Let’s be blunt: most of the kit in this price bracket is absolute rubbish. You’re usually being sold a shiny plastic shell wrapped around a processor that was “meh” 3 years ago. I spend my time digging through the spec sheets to find the one or two gems that aren’t a total waste of your hard-earned cash. If you just need to bash out some uni essays or watch Netflix without the whole thing turning into a slideshow, these are the only ones worth a look!
