The idea for this site came from a familiar frustration. Despite working in IT, I still found that buying a new laptop for personal use meant wading through pages of contradictory reviews, misleading specs, and thinly veiled advertising. If someone with a professional tech background found it overwhelming, what chance did the average UK shopper have?
